Caroline Tracey Named WW Dissertation Fellow in Women’s Studies for 2021
The Institute for Citizens & Scholars is pleased to announce the selection of eight WW Dissertation Fellows in Women’s Studies for 2021. Among them is Caroline Tracey, a member of the Conference of Latin Americanist Geographers and a recipient of your dissertation field grant.
Caroline is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley whose dissertation is an ethnography of the activism of women and trans deportees and return migrants in Mexico City.
The Women’s Studies Fellowship is the only national program to support doctoral work on women’s and gendered issues. Each 2021 Fellow will receive a $5,000 award to help cover expenses incurred while completing their dissertations.
